Our first webinar with a ‘cardiology’ focus commences on March 20th, 2025. 7.30 – 8.30pm

In advance of our first IAANMP webinar on 20th March 2025, MedCafe require a members list from the IAANMP with name, email and NMBI pin.

Set up Process:

MedCafe will create a closed group for IAANMP webinars, which members will be added to if they have an existing account registered with MedCafe.

For any non-MedCafe IAANMP members, you can set up an account to MedCafe and request to join the MedMeetings group.

Once this group is set up, MedCafe will send an email to group members with instructions to join the first webinar.

Instruction to set up account of MedCafe 

  1. Visit https://www.medcafe.ie/
  2. Click ‘Sign Up’ and enter your details.
  3. You will receive an email from MedCafe.ie. Click the link.
  4. Complete your Profile – NMBI/Reg No. etc.
  5. Download Zoom http://www.zoom.us/ to your device.
  6. At    time    on      date       , log into your MedCafé account and click ‘Join Webinar’.
  7. You will be sent a reminder email 1 hour beforehand.

Mr. David Delaney

David is the newly elected Secretary. He currently works in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. David graduated from the University of Tasmania in Australia and started his career in cardiac care. From there he worked in the Intensive care units of the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania, the Royal Prince Alfred, Sydney, St. James Hospital, Dublin and University Hospital Limerick. He is currently a Clinical Skills Facilitator in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. He has previously studied a postgraduate diploma in Intensive Care Nursing with NUI Galway and is currently in his dissertation year of this Masters in Advanced Nursing Care also with NUI Galway. David will be a registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner once his MSc is complete. David also holds a position on the student subgroup of the International Council of Nurses NP/APN network.
