Felicity Mc Fadden RANP in Respiratory Integrated Care to Present at ICN NP/APN Network Conference 2026

Congratulations to Felicity Mc Fadden, Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP) in Respiratory Integrated Care, on the successful acceptance of her abstract for the 14th ICN NP/APN Network Conference, taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, in September 2026.

Felicity’s work has been accepted for Oral Podium Presentation within the conference category Practice: Transforming NP/APN Practice Models – Innovative Approaches to Care Delivery, highlighting the international relevance and impact of advanced nursing practice in Ireland.

Accepted Abstract Title: Evaluation of Nurse Practitioner Led Sleep Clinic within a Community Setting, Ireland

This important practice-focused evaluation showcases the role of nurse practitioner–led models in delivering accessible, high-quality, and innovative care within community settings. The acceptance of this abstract reflects the strength of Felicity’s clinical leadership, service development, and commitment to evidence-based practice, as well as the growing international recognition of Irish ANP/RANP contributions to healthcare transformation.

The ICN NP/APN Network Conference is a leading global forum for advanced practice nurses, bringing together practitioners, researchers, educators, and policymakers from around the world. Mr. David Delaney

David is the newly elected Secretary. He currently works in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. David graduated from the University of Tasmania in Australia and started his career in cardiac care. From there he worked in the Intensive care units of the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania, the Royal Prince Alfred, Sydney, St. James Hospital, Dublin and University Hospital Limerick. He is currently a Clinical Skills Facilitator in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. He has previously studied a postgraduate diploma in Intensive Care Nursing with NUI Galway and is currently in his dissertation year of this Masters in Advanced Nursing Care also with NUI Galway. David will be a registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner once his MSc is complete. David also holds a position on the student subgroup of the International Council of Nurses NP/APN network.
