We would like to invite all ANPs / AMPs in Ireland to join IAANMP, we especially encourage those new to advanced practice or who are on the trajectory to advanced practice to join and get involved. We also invite all educators, nursing management and policy makers who are involved at a national and local level with advanced practice to join IAANMP.
Get involved – join the committee, anyone who has been a member for 2 consecutive years can apply to join the committee. Associate members are not eligible to join the committee and do not have voting rights at the AGM. This decision was voted on and ratified by members at the 2021 Virtual AGM.

Associate Membership €75.00

Open to those who work closely and who are proponents of advanced practice, such as those involved in the education of advanced practice and lecturers in the HEIs, Nursing managers, Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Practice Development Coordinators, NMPDU officers, CNME education coordinators etc.

We use Stripe payment processing platform for secure payment of your yearly membership fee. Stripe accepts all major credit and debit cards.

On joining you will be issued with a membership number and you will be able to log in to see your membership details.

Membership is for a twelve month period and will auto renew every year. 

We estimate that our membership is currently about 50% of all RANPs/RAMPs nationally.

Mr. David Delaney

David is the newly elected Secretary. He currently works in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. David graduated from the University of Tasmania in Australia and started his career in cardiac care. From there he worked in the Intensive care units of the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania, the Royal Prince Alfred, Sydney, St. James Hospital, Dublin and University Hospital Limerick. He is currently a Clinical Skills Facilitator in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. He has previously studied a postgraduate diploma in Intensive Care Nursing with NUI Galway and is currently in his dissertation year of this Masters in Advanced Nursing Care also with NUI Galway. David will be a registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner once his MSc is complete. David also holds a position on the student subgroup of the International Council of Nurses NP/APN network.
