Caroline Fraser, IAANMP Vice Chair, to Present at ICN NP/APN Network Conference 2026

The Irish Association of Advanced Nurse and Midwife Practitioners (IAANMP) is delighted to announce that an abstract submitted by Caroline Fraser, IAANMP Vice Chair, has been formally accepted for presentation at the 14th International Council of Nurses (ICN) Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Practice Nurse (NP/APN) Network Conference.

The abstract, titled Driving Excellence in Advanced Practice: The Role and Impact of the Irish Association of Advanced Nurse and Midwife Practitioners (IAANMP), has been accepted as an E-Poster Presentation at the conference, which will take place from 14–17 September 2026 at the Music City Center, Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

This prestigious international conference brings together advanced practice nursing leaders, clinicians, educators, researchers, and policymakers from across the globe. Acceptance of this abstract reflects the growing international recognition of the IAANMP’s leadership, advocacy, and contribution to the development, governance, and professional advancement of Advanced Nurse and Midwife Practice in Ireland.

The IAANMP extends warm congratulations to Caroline on this achievement and looks forward to the Association being represented on the global stage, highlighting the strength, impact, and ongoing evolution of advanced practice in Ireland.

Mr. David Delaney

David is the newly elected Secretary. He currently works in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. David graduated from the University of Tasmania in Australia and started his career in cardiac care. From there he worked in the Intensive care units of the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania, the Royal Prince Alfred, Sydney, St. James Hospital, Dublin and University Hospital Limerick. He is currently a Clinical Skills Facilitator in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick. He has previously studied a postgraduate diploma in Intensive Care Nursing with NUI Galway and is currently in his dissertation year of this Masters in Advanced Nursing Care also with NUI Galway. David will be a registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner once his MSc is complete. David also holds a position on the student subgroup of the International Council of Nurses NP/APN network.
